What are The Disadvantages Of https in Blogger Custom Domain

what are the disadvantages of https in blogger custom domain

Note: Now Blogger also provides HTTPS service for the custom domain so don't waste your time to reading this post.

Hello Friends! How are you? I hope you will be well and also hope that you found my last post On "How to add syntax highlighter in blogger for programming" and it will be very helpful for you.Thank you very much for all lovely comment and suggestion. You've inspired me to write another post.

In this article, I am going to share "What Are The Disadvantages Of https in Blogger Custom Domain". Let's begin...

If you are thinking of adding https in blogger on a custom domain then you are wrong, you are creating your problem yourself. Do you want to know that why should not add https in blogger custom domain? Do you want to know what are the disadvantages of using https in blogger custom domain?

What are the disadvantages of using https in blogger custom domain?

There are various disadvantages of using https in blogger custom domain. We are writing this post on my experience because I was using https in our blogger custom domain but I faced many problems. That's why I don't want that you to face this problem too.

If you use https in blogger custom domain then your blog post will be deindexed from Google or other search engines because blogger already gives Warning that https is not available for custom domain and Blogger doesn't support third-party SSL certificate.

When I added https in my custom domain then my all blog posts deindexed(removed) from Google or other search engine and Search console gives many errors like Server error. So don't use https in a custom domain.

Https is not important for the blog because https provides security when secure text is transferred in your website like money transfer, secret information etc. but the blog doesn't contain any secure information and blogger admin panel is opened by Gmail id or password and Google provides more security for Gmail or blogger. So it is not easy to hack.

Google provides default Sitemap file for blogger because blogger doesn't provide an option to upload file and sitemap.xml is a file which has to be upload to on your server. That's why Google that means Blogger provides an inbuilt sitemap.XML file. You don't need to create a sitemap.xml file for blogger. You can directly add a sitemap.xml file in Google Search Console.

I hope that you may have understood and you won't do this mistake. Once again I hope you liked this post so much. If you like this post then share with your friends also ask your problem through comment box. I will try to solve your problem as soon as possible...

Thank You So Much
