How to add custom / blog post template in Blogger

Hello Friends! How are You? I hope, you will be well and also hope that you found my last post on How to add social media buttons to blogger sidebar and it will be very helpful for you. Thank you very much for all lovely comment and suggestion. You've inspired me to write another post.

In this article, I am going to learn how to add custom / blog post template in Blogger and what is blog post template? Let's begin..


How to add custom or blog template in blogger

What is post Template?


I know that you will be very eager to know about post template. You must have seen repeated sentence in all post of this blog and this sentence is called post template. 

Post template helps us to write repeated sentence in all blog post at a time that means we don't have to write repeated sentence in all blog post.

Suppose you want to write same sentence in all blog post like "Thank you for being here" then you can use post template. One thing always keep in mind that this features enables only in new post after adding post template that means this features doesn't enable in old post.


How to add custom/blog post template in blogger?


1. First of all, open your blogger dashboard in new tab of your browser.

2. Then click on the Setting option which is beside at the dashboard.

3. Then click on the Post, Comment and Sharing option.

4. Then click on the Add option which is in front of Post template.

5. Now write your sentence in the box which you want to repeat in all the posts. If you want to do line break then you can use <br/> tag.

6. Now click on the Save Setting option which is at above right side.



Test your blog post template ---


Now you would like to check that your post template is added properly or not. To check that it is added properly or not follow the below steps.

1. Click on the Posts option which is beside at the dashboard.

2. Then click on the New Post option which is above the post list.

3. Now you will be looking that post template is automatically inserted in your post editor.
