If you are a blogger and your blog is running on blogger platform then you must have to know that blogger inbuilt commenting system is not better for comment because it doesn't provide edit option.

It may be that in the coming days, Blogger will improve its own commenting system. And blogger platform is always providing new features day by day.

I have already written a post on Disqus commenting system and IntenseDebate commenting system which is a better commenting system for all platform and today, I am going to share How to add facebook comment box in blogger? Let's begin...


What are the benefits of the Facebook commenting system?

The Facebook commenting system is another better options to add a comment to your blog. It also provides facility to share a comment on facebook. As we know that Facebook is a social media networking service which provides facility to connect peoples all over the world.

We can promote our business on Facebook by creating a page, creating a group, promoting business. Facebook is being a better way to promote business, blog etc.

How to add Facebook commenting system on blogger?

If you want to know about the Facebook commenting system that means how to add facebook commenting system on the blog and make beautiful blog design then read this post carefully.
  • First of all, open your Facebook account in the web browser.
  • Next, open your facebook page and copy your facebook page URL.

  • Next, open facebook developer comment page and paste your Facebook page URL in the box. (click here to open facebook developer comment page).
  • Next, you can change Number of posts according to your requirement. If you select 5 number of posts then 5 comments will be shown in your blog posts. You can also change width according to your requirement.
  • Next, click on the Get Code option.
  • Then open a pop-up box. In this box, two codes will be shown. Select First code and open your blogger account in the new tab of the browser.
  • Next, click on the Theme option besides blogger dashboard and click on the Edit HTML option.
  • Next, click the mouse pointer anywhere between the code and press CTRL + F button and find the <body> tag in template code.
  • Next, paste the copied code below the <body> tag.
  • Next, click on the Save Theme option. Now an error will be shown. write &amp; instead of &. You can see the below image.

  • After changing, click on the Save Theme.
  • Now click on the Layout option besides blogger dashboard and then click on the Add a Gadget option.
  • Then a pop-up box will be opened. In this box, click on the HTML/JavaScript option. Then again a pop-up box will be opened. In this box, paste the second code in the second box which did copy from Facebook developer page. You can see below image for detail.

  • Next, click on the Save option.
  • Now, drag and drop the comment widget below blog posts widget and then click on the Save arrangement option.

If you don't know why should we add syntax highlighter on the blog then don't worry, I will tell you.

Syntax highlighter is used for highlighter the text according to the program like C, C++, Java, HTML etc. You can make beautiful your blog code by adding syntax highlighter. If you share program on your blog then you must add syntax highlighter.

I am going to tell about code-prettify. Code-prettify is developed by Google to highlight the syntax so that your blog code looks more beautiful.

What are the benefits of Code-prettify?

  • It is responsive.
  • It is developed by Google.
  • Load fast than other syntax highlighters.
  • It is very easy because you don't need to add more code to your theme.
  • It is used in both https and http version


How to add Syntax highlighter in blogger blog with https version?


First Step

  • First of all, copy the below code

  • After that, open your blogger dashboard in browser's new tab.
  • After that, click on the Theme option besides blogger dashboard and then click on the Edit HTML option.
  • Now click the mouse pointer anywhere between the code and press ctrl + f and find </head> tag.
  • After finding, paste the copied code before </head> tag and then click on the Save Theme option.
Second Step

In the next step, you have to add some CSS code according to style that means I have put several CSS codes for different style select one of them and add it into your blog theme before </b:skin> tag.

In paid service, more types of badges are available and more features are available. If you want to add DMCA badge free of cost then follow the below steps.

  • Then a sign-up form will be opened in front of you. In this sign-up form, fill your details like first name, last name, company name and Email.
